FYI - Deadline coming up in less than two weeks!
The deadline for students to apply to theDonald J. Weidner Summer for
Undergraduates Program
<http://law.fsu.edu/academics/summer-for-undergraduates>is *Friday,
March 24*. We’ve hosted this program on Florida StateLaw’s campus since
1992 and have witnessed nearly 1200 college students “experience law
behind the scenes.” This year’s program will take place *May 15-June 8.
*The application process simulates that for law school admissions,
requiring a resume, letter of recommendation, and personal statement, in
addition to the online application. We do not stipulate a particular
major/minor or minimum academic credentials; ALL are welcome to apply. **
The top 60 students selected will take daily law classes taught by our
professors, attend academic and professional development workshops,
enjoy field trips to area courts and law firms, and network with dozens
of legal professionals during the four-week program. There is _no fee_
to apply or program expenses, except transportation to and from
Tallahassee (for which we provide a $500 stipend at the end of the
program). On our Web site is more helpful information, including how to
