Happy Holidays,

Our exciting, new nonpartisan advocacy organization is looking for two 
talented interns and one paid fellow for the winter semester/session. I 
apologize for the late notice. (If it comes too late, please keep us in 
mind for the spring session.)

United Republic was launched a little more than one month ago as a bold 
new reform effort to get money out of politics. We have offices in 
Northampton, MA and Washington, DC. We engage in several program areas: 
communications, investigations, online and traditional advocacy, 
coalition building, and political accountability.

We have 300,000 members ---- the result of a founding merger with 
Harvard Professor Larry Lessig's /Change Congress/, and MSNBC host Dylan 
Ratigan's /Get Money Out /campaign.

We are seeking volunteer interns and one paid fellow to assist with a 
broad range of programmatic and development related work.  I attach a 
two-page summary of who we are and what we do.

If you have students who are particularly talented, and might be 
interested in this opportunity, please forward them this email, and have
