HAMPSHIRE LAW PROGRAM ORGANIZING MEETING!
Tuesday October 26, 5pm-6pm
FPH 101
Interested in legal studies, human rights, prisons, reproductive rights,
bioethics, queer rights, immigration, the Supreme Court, the
Constitution, the War on Terror, going to law school…we could go on and
on but you get the idea. The Hampshire Law Program is largely
student-driven and needs your participation and input as we make plans
for the academic year. Come join us on Tuesday October 26 at 5pm for our
first meeting of the year and help develop a plan for the year’s
activities. In the past we have discussed legal studies course
offerings, held LSAT and law school admissions workshops, sponsored film
series on hot law-related topics, and hosted speakers from academe and
from the real world of legal practice in a wide variety of issue areas.
What would you like to see happen this year?
The Law Program is emphatically NOT just for law-school bound students!
Visit the program’s webpage at http://www.hampshire.edu/academics/4853.htm.
All are welcome; bring your questions and ideas; meet Law
Program-affiliated faculty. Refreshments served.
