[Hamp-law] Conversation with Alumni Trustee Rebecca Holland (77F)

Please join us for an informal conversation with Alumni Trustee Rebecca 
Holland (77F) this Thursday November 11^th from 5-6pm in FPH 107.She 
will discuss her education at Hampshire and her career in 
law.Refreshments will be served.

Bio

S. Rebecca Holland is currently the associate university compliance 
officer for New York University. After obtaining her Hampshire degree, 
she earned a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva 
University. She began her legal career as a criminal defense attorney 
with the Legal Aid Society of New York City, working in the Brooklyn and 
Manhattan courts. Rebecca spent nearly a decade as an executive in 
Chicago and New York nonprofit alternative-to-incarceration 
organizations, focusing on criminal justice policy, development, and 
program management. She later served as the inspector general of the 
Public Assistance and Grants Unit of the New York City Department of 
Investigation. Her volunteer activities have included serving on 
committees at the Chicago Women's Bar Association and the New York City 
Bar Association; mentoring teenage girls; and serving on the board of 
directors of Illinois NARAL and the Illinois NARAL Political Action 
Committee. She is currently a member of the National Association of 
College and University Attorneys, the Association of Corporate 
Counsel/Greater New York chapter, and the Society of Corporate 
Compliance and Ethics.
