Planned Parenthood Federation of America is the nation's leading sexual and
reproductive health care advocate and provider. We believe that everyone has
the right to choose when or whether to have a child, and that every child
should be wanted and loved. Planned Parenthood affiliates operate more than 860
health centers nationwide, providing medical services and sexuality education
for millions of women, men, and teenagers each year. We also work with allies
worldwide to ensure that all women and men have the right and the means to meet
their sexual and reproductive health care needs.
We are seeking an individual to coordinate/facilitate work of the Office of
General Counsel and six attorneys, including administration of contract review
process; auditing and review of trademark registrations; organization of paper
and electronic files, and all administrative tasks (i.e. faxing, copying,
preparing pay orders/check requests, assisting in travel and meeting
arrangements). Candidate will also conduct legal and factual research using
resources of the law library, Westlaw, and the internet, as well as edit
documents and respond to requests for information.
Requires a college degree, initiative and attention to detail with
follow-through, superior research, writing/editing skills, and the ability to
learn tasks quickly. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel,
PowerPoint) as well as excellent communication/multi-task skills, is essential.
Knowledge of diverse groups, working with a multicultural workforce, and
sensitivity and appreciation to cultural differences is required.
