The goal of this conference is for participants to leave with a better
understanding of the issues facing Transgender and gender non-conforming
individuals in the areas of
* Health care
* Legal protections and documentation
* Employment & Education
Regional experts from the medical and health professions as well as
transgender advocates and allies will conduct workshops and
informational sessions on these issues. Workshops are geared to Service
Providers, Medical and Legal professionals, Trans and gender
non-conforming community, allies and all those interested in the Health
and Law issues facing the Transgender and gender non-conforming communities.
*The conference will begin at 8:00 am* with registration and a light
breakfast. Opening remarks will occur at 8:30 am followed by a full day
of interesting workshops which you won't want to miss. You can check

reception at 4:15 pm.

*Please make sure you register for the conference ASAP (deadline is
April 11th but early registrations gladly welcomed)* so that we can make
sure we have enough food for everyone ( and make sure Jerimarie doesn't
have a nervous breakdown). Also, if you know someone who is attending
who needs an ASL or Spanish interpreter, please make sure they register
before March 31st.
