Please join us for a Law Lunch this Wednesday, March 30, 2005, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in Merrill Living Room.  Attorney Bill Newman, the director of the Western Massachusetts Civil Liberties Union, will speak on "The Government's Assault on Free Speech and Other Fundamental Rights."  He'll discuss the threats to civil liberties arising from the "war on terrorism" and the case of defense attorney Lynne Stewart, who was recently convicted in connection with her representation of a "terrorist" defendant.  Come enjoy free lunch and a stimulating talk!
