<p><span>Study Title: History of Trans Activism and Trans Inclusive Policies at Hampshire College</span></p>
<div><span></span><br /><span>Dear Hampshire Community Members, </span><br /><br /><span>I am writing to invite you to participate in a research study that a colleague and I are conducting, entitled, “History of trans Activism and trans Inclusive Policies at Hampshire College.” We believe you would be able to provide valuable information about trans activism on Hampshire’s campus (including its historical role in changing name, pronoun, and bathroom policies over the last decade).</span><br /><span> </span><br /><span>We are asking participants to fill out a brief interest form. In order to be eligible for participation, you must be:</span><br /><span>1. 18 years or older</span><br /><span>2. A student, alumnus, staff person (current or previous), or faculty member (current or previous) of Hampshire College.</span><br /><span> </span><br /><span>Please share this survey with students, friends, and colleagues who a) are broadly invested in inclusive policies in higher ed and/or the history of queer and trans activism in the US or b) participated in revising Hampshire’s policies, currently oversee continued revisions to Hampshire's policies, and/or enjoy the results of these policy changes. We especially encourage trans, queer, and/or non-binary students to participate and share their experiences. </span><br /><br /><span>Erich and I will be traveling to Hampshire the week of <span class="aBn" data-term="goog_1497001379"><span class="aQJ">October 2</span></span> and would like to meet with you to discuss your thoughts and experiences.</span><br /><br /><span>I look forward to your participation in this research!
