Hi all,

My name is Bri and I am a Peer Educator at the Hampshire College
Wellness Center. I was contacted this summer by Sophie Howard of the
Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts about coming to Hampshire
College again this fall for an information session for students about
services offered by PPLM. I suggested that perhaps the session could be
tailored to talk about Planned Parenthood's now-offered Gender-Affirming
Hormone Therapy services, as many students require access to these
services.

My supervisor, Ashley Netanel (Associate Director of Wellness Promotion)
thought that we could make this event a collaborative effort between
PPLM and Hampshire College Health Services, since Hampshire offers
hormone therapy services as well, and it made sense to present both
on-campus _and_ off-campus options to the students. Ideally in this
event, participants would learn about the services offered by both PPLM
and HCHS respectively, and what the differences are between accessing
either location (insurance, location, tailoring of services, cost,
etc.).

I am emailing you all (SexPerts, GRN, and QCA) to see if you would have
any interest in collaborating on this event with us. Collaboration would
most likely include helping with advertising and getting folks to come,
as well as possible with food. If you collab with us, we will also put
your name on the poster!

Our first choice of a date is October 3rd in the evening, as many
students may wish to reflect on these options with their parents over
October break, but we are also looking at October 11th as a possibility
as well and just need to hear back from Health Services to confirm a
date.

Thank you very much for your time, and I look forward to hearing back
from you!

Best,

Bri
