<b>Fulbright Grant Info Session - Weds 3/31</b>

The 2011-2012 Fulbright Grant Competition will open on May 1, 2010.
This information session will provide an overview of the grant and the
application process.<br>
<br>
WHEN: Wednesday, March 31 @ 5 pm<br>
WHERE: CORC (library, 3rd flr)<br>

The Hampshire campus application deadline will be in late September,
2010.<br>
<br>
Third-year students must apply through Hampshire. Students who are
graduating may apply "at large" but would benefit from applying through
Hampshire.<br>
<br>
The two main types of grants are<br>
- Full Grants for Study and Research<br>
- Full Grants for English Teaching Assistantships<br>

<b>Hampshire in Berlin (Spring 2011): Info Session</b>
<br>
<br>
Study in Berlin for a semester! Berlin is one of the most exciting
places to live, and to learn about art, history, Europe, and
contemporary culture. Come learn about the Hampshire Program in Berlin,
which will be taking place again in Spring 2011.<br>
<br>
Hampshire has an exchange agreement with the Free University, and
Hampshire students will have the opportunity to take classes at one of
the Berlin universities, to arrange an internship, and/or to do
independent research. The first half of the program consists of German
language classes, learning about Berlin and Germany, and going to many
museums, cultural events, historical sites, as well as trips beyond
Berlin, including a week in Poland.<br>

It is expected that students participating in the program will have
completed at least 2 or 3 semesters of college-level German language
study. So be sure you are planning ahead and incorporating German
language study into your fall semester course pre-registration!<br>

Enrollment Notification Deadline reminder: FRIDAY, APRIL 9TH<br>
Why is this date important? You must notify Hampshire of your plans to
study off-campus (on either Exchange or Field Study) by this date. If
you were accepted on a Hampshire Exchange program, your received
paperwork in your acceptance packet and it is due to both CASA and GEO
on this date. If you are going on a non-Hampshire program or
self-designing your own study abroad experience (a.k.a. applying for
Field Study) pick up your forms from CASA directly. NOTE: Be sure to
call ahead to make an appointment for the required signatures from GEO
(if you are going anywhere international).<br>
