> Institute for Study Abroad (IFSA)-Butler - (Affiliated with
Butler University.) IFSA-Butler programs are located at high quality
universities around the world, some of which are among the most
prestigious in the world. Their philosophy of study abroad includes as
much immersion as possible into the host university culture. Students
fully enroll in their host universities alongside degree-seeking
students, so the classes they take are regularly scheduled degree
courses with university professors. All coursework in IFSA-Butler's
Latin America and Spain programs is in Spanish. Students are entitled
to join any university organization or society and are even eligible
for university sports teams in most cases. Internship placement
opportunities are available in programs in English-speaking countries,
and volunteer work is available in many Spanish-speaking program
locations. Along with semester-length opportunities, IFSA-Butler also
offers summer program opportunities. IFSA-Butler also offers some
scholarships for their programs, along with some resources for finding
outside financial aid.
