Students curious about or considering taking one of Hampshire’s 
short-term courses in May will have the opportunity to learn more about 
these programs and have their questions answered.

Hampshire Dining Commons
Considering studying abroad? Come talk to a representative from IHP 
about their programs. IHP offers students a unique opportunity to 
examine major social justice and sustainability issues facing the world 
today. Students examine a thematic topic in multiple countries in the 
semester or academic year, exploring how people in different countries 
create varied solutions to the common problems they face.

Weekly GEO Info Sessions provide an overview of study abroad options and 
how to begin planning your study abroad experience.

Health and Community program with IHP
Deadline – March 15th

The International Honors Program is now running its Health and Community 
Program during the fall semester. This program allows students to 
explore and interpret the biological, ecological, economic, political, 
and socio-cultural factors that affect human health. The itinerary 
includes Switzerland, India, China, and South Africa. Applications are 
reviewed on a rolling basis.

Augsburg matching Pell Grants

The Center for Global Education at Augsburg College will match Pell 
Grants for students enrolling in many of its programs in Mexico and 
Central America, for both Fall and Spring. Information on these 
programs, which range from studies on social change to international 
business and global citizenship, can be found online.

Antioch’s Women’s and Gender Studies Program
Deadline – March 30th

In this program, students interested in women’s, gender, or sexualities 
and or in feminist/queer theory will have the opportunity to attend 
lectures and take seminars with a range or prominent feminist and queer 
scholars and activists in Utrecht, Amsterdam, Berlin, Krakow, and 
Prague. Students also create their own research program over the course 
of the fall semester.

Blog for Pink Pangea
Deadline – February 10th

Pink Pangea. the community for women travelers, is seeking adventurous 
women to blog about their experiences living abroad. Applicants should 
be passionate about international travel, committed to exploring new 
cultures, and interested in bringing a unique perspective to other women 
travelers. Applicants must be living abroad for at least three months, 
and would be required to write at least twice a month. To apply, send a 
short, relevant writing sample, and two ideas for blog posts to 
Rachel at pinkpangea.com .

study abroad.
