Friday.)
Interested in studying abroad during January Term '08?
Now's the time to begin the application process! For Hampshire Jan-Term
programs, the deadline to apply is October 17th! Come to next week
interest meetings for Hampshire and 5-College Jan-Term abroad programs
(see below for more info), or look for programs elsewhere.
Planning to go on a Hampshire exchange abroad in Spring '08?
The deadline for applying is October 17! Whether you want to go on a
Hampshire exchange or participate in other programs, please call our
office (x5542) to schedule a meeting with Brianna and discuss your plans
if you haven't already done so!

OPPORTUNITIES FOR GOING ABROAD
January and Summer programs through Intrax Study Abroad
Intrax's Culture Adventures are experiential learning programs that
combine traditional coursework, field-based studies, reflective
activities and exploratory travel. January '08 includes a
sustainability program in Costa Rica and habitat restoration near the
Wolong Panda Reserve in China. January application deadline: November
15, 2008. Summer programs are in China, Costa Rica, Japan, Peru,
Argentina, and India.

January and Summer Russian language programs in Siberia
Either participate in language programs for Russian while participating
in a volunteer teacher internship at a language camp. Native speakers
of English, German, French, and Spanish are welcome to apply for the
volunteer teacher internships. The language camp is a non-profit
organization, and will cover room and board, local transportation, and
excursions.
