Hello Excalibur!<br><br>I just finished writing a fantasy novel. I'm in the process of querying it to literary agents.<br><br>As part of this process, I've assembled <b>a list of every American literary agent who is seeking new works of fantasy</b> <b>to represent</b>.<br>
<br>I thought I'd share this list with Excalibur. Just guessing a few of you could use it at least as well I.<br clear="all"><br>Every agent on this list is a) in America, b) actively in business, c) actively seeking new talent, and d) interested in novels of fantasy.<br>
<br>I've also included each agent's contact information, preferred method of contact, and specifications for queries.<br>
<br><br>This list is broken up into four parts. <br>-The first part is those agents that need a physical query letter sent to them via deadtree snailmail. <br>-The second are those who accept queries via eMail, but who require attachments (such as prose samples). <br>
-The third are those who just want straight-up eMail queries. <br>-The fourth are those who want you to fill out a form on their web site.<br><br>-For the first part, I've included physical addresses.<br>-For the second and third parts, I've included eMail addresses.<br>
-For the fourth part, I've included web addresses.<br><br><br><b>Two of these agents are Hampshire alums (as my ecstatic marginalia might indicate). These are Anna Ghosh, f89, and Kathleen Anderson, f72.<br></b><br>So far, three of these agents have requested to see my manuscript. So, indeed, they are for realz. <br>
