Here is the website for the League: http://www.cstarleague.org/

And here is the email they sent out a few days ago about the Fall 2009 Season. As soon as school starts up again, I'll be working on setting a Hampshire team up.

REGISTRATION

Process

Official registration for CSL Fall 2009 will begin in September.
Registration will be handled through the CSL website, as well as
roster/lineup/match results submission. Those interested (like you guys!)
will be allowed to sign up as coordinators from the period between September
1st to 12th. We'll open things up for player signups after that point
from the 12th to the 25th.

We would like to institute a small registration fee (exact amount
currently undecided) for players/teams, which will be used to cover things like
server costs, corporate fees - and potentially prizes. We would
especially like your feedback regarding this issue, so if you have any comments
or concerns, please let us know - we'd be glad to hear from you.

CSL Hype Video

One more thing that doesn't really fit anywhere above is that we're looking to
make a short hype video for this season's CSL. We really need your help
on this one, so if you've got the time and a video camera it'd be great if you
guys could send in some short video clips and/or pictures featuring your team.

TOURNAMENT OPERATIONS

Overview

CSL Fall 2009 will follow a similar format to last season. Swiss Rounds
will begin on October 5th and go until November 16th, for six rounds.
There will be two breaks during the weeks of Halloween and Thanksgiving.
After Thanksgiving we'll cut to the top 8 schools for the Finals.
Scheduling for the Top 8 will be much more flexible, as we understand that many
people will have exams during December/January.

During the Top 8 Finals and the intermittent period between Fall and Spring
Semester we are planning on holding a series of mini-tournaments for fun, like
the Losers' League last semester.

Process

For those of you that are new, here's a brief summary of the process during
Swiss rounds.

Coordinators submit Match Reports via Website by

Weekly map pools will be posted
at the beginning of the semester for all six rounds of Swiss, so you can get
your practice in ahead of time and actually plan out a strategy with your team.

Something we plan on is having teams pick two out of the three available
times to play. We're hoping that this will alleviate some of the
logistical problems that could arise from having teams individually contact one
another to arrange for match times so players can plan their schedules in
advance.

goes. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please don't
