[Excalibur] Final reminder for Battle for Zendikar league sign up!

Hello all, 

I just wanted to send a quick reminder out: there's only one day left to
sign up for the 3-week Battle for Zendikar Magic league! Everyone is
welcome regardless of experience level or relation (or lack-thereof) to
Hampshire, and details are below.. 

Registration closes TOMORROW AT 11:59PM (THURSDAY, 9/24), so sign up now
if you'd like to play! (If you register after this you might still be
able to play if I have extra packs, but it's not guaranteed.)

If you've signed up already but haven't gotten the $30 to me yet I'll be
on campus tomorrow (Thursday) evening from 6:30-8 at the Bridge, or you
can send it via paypal or venmo. I'm not making any profit, every cent
goes to your packs and prize support, but I don't have enough to front
for all the boxes of boosters necessary for the league!

Further details:

 	* Each player will receive a total of 9 packs: 5 packs are used to
construct a 40-card minimum deck for week one. An additional pack is
added to the player's pool for each week they've completed. Another pack
is added after 3 match losses, then 1 pack is added after their 4th
loss.
 	* Regulation play will last three weeks, and each week players will
fit in 3 matches (a match consisting of best of 3 games) for a total of
9 regulation matches.

ENTRY IS $30 which I'll need before Friday the 25th; this covers the 9
packs you get and keep as well as prize support. You can send me a text

First year students can get CEL-1 credit for this league; e-mail Ira at

A quick blurb about me, so you're not handing money to some random
strange alum: My name is Jessica Stephens, and I graduated from
Hampshire back in spring 2014 with a degree in Medieval and Renaissance
Studies. I signed for Magic Draft (now defunct) and Mythos during my
time at Hampshire and stayed in the Valley after graduating, playing in
all 5 of Ira's leagues thus far. Fall of my div III year I took Ira's
first Intro to Game Design course for fun, and I have not been as
excited for a set as I am for Battle for Zendikar since Innistrad was
still being printed.
