[Excalibur] Mafia Wars coming soon!

Hey guys!

  I don't know how many of you know me, but I'm Jonah, one of the signers
for Mythos. I'm borrowing this list (with permission from the lovely
Excalibur signers) to give you the opportunity to join in some extra
nerdiness.

  The TL;DR is: Mafia Wars is getting ready to go! It'll be starting up near
the beginning of the Spring Semester, after enough time for everyone to get
settled in. I've made the rules[1] available to read, so you can figure out
what it is! If you're interested, please email Hampshire.Mayor at gmail.com or
reply to this email. I'll also bring sign-up sheets to some Saturday
meetings. If you have any questions, feel free to hunt me down in some
manner and ask. Signups are currently open!

  Now, for those of you who for some reason enjoy reading what I write and
because I hate sleeping like I want to, a little story.

  Back in the 70s, before Hampshire was founded, several of the families
found that they didn't quite have the reach they needed to get their kids
into the big schools, like Harvard and places like that. However, to keep
up with the other big names in the Mafia business, they needed their
children to be educated at one of the best schools in the country. So, they
did what any reasonable parent would, and founded Hampshire college.

  Now, years later, the families have realized that they aren't getting back
their full investment, because too many of their children decide that they
would rather start a non-profit than steal from anyone and everyone.

  Because of this, over the past four years, they have been slipping in more
and more of their children into the the 5 college system, focusing
particularly on Hampshire college.

  And that's where you come in. As a member of one of the three major
families, you need to recoup your old fortune, and bring honor to your
family. Of course, at the same time, you don't want the other families to
get too much money, or else they will become to strong, back in whatever
one city you all are from. (Yeah, the plot sort of falls apart there).

  In anycase, I'll be your master of ceremonies, and Mayor of Hampshire City
for the duration of the event. Again, if you have any questions or
concerns, feel free to shoot them at me. I would prefer that all Mafia Wars
related emails go to Hampshire.Mayor at gmail.com, as it will make my life
easier. Again, sign ups are open!
