Hey there folks, welcome back to the Hampshire and the new year of our good
'ol Mayan apocalypse.

For Jan Term, what Excalibur does (since there are 3 Saturday screenings)
is show a couple of mini-series.

This year, we have the option of viewing 2 out of the following 3:

The Lost Room (This series revolves around the titular room and some of the
everyday items from that room which possess unusual powers. The show's
protagonist, Joe Miller, is searching for these objects to rescue his
daughter, Anna, who has disappeared inside the Room. Once a typical room at
a 1960s motel along U.S. Route 66, the Lost Room has existed outside of
normal time and space since 1961, when what is only referred to as "the
Event" took place.)

Tin Man (This miniseries is a reimagining and continuation of the classic
story *The Wonderful Wizard of Oz*, with science fiction and additional
fantasy elements added. It focuses on the adventures of a small-town
waitress named DG who is pulled into a magical realm called the O.Z., ruled
by the tyrannical sorceress Azkadellia. Together with her companions, DG
journeys to uncover her lost memories, find her true parents, and foil
Azkadellia's plot to trap the O.Z. in eternal darkness.)

BBC's Sherlock (Sherlock is a British television series that presents a
contemporary update of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes detective
stories. Be aware that we will be showing the second season of this
mini-series, as the episodes air the Sundays before the screening).

Be prepared to vote for which series you'd rather us not show at:

8PM
ELH
Saturday.
