[Excalibur] Welcome (First Blood Pt. II - Electric Boogaloo)

Welcome one and all the real first Excalibur email of the semester, now that
Hampfest has actually occurred.  I would like to personally thank each and
every new member to the Excalibur mailing list, though I won't, because
there were *so many* of you.  That makes my various geek organs quiver with
joy and elation, not actually gross, I swear.

Here's the lowdown, we screen movies n' TV shows that are of the science
fiction and fantasy flavor weekly.  We watch an episode of the show (that
lasts a semester), eat food, then watch a movie (see a list of suggested
movies HERE <https://hampedia.org/wiki/Excalibur>).

Additionally, every semester we run the rather popular event known as
Deathfest <https://hampedia.org/wiki/Deathfest>, which is out 200-person
simplified Dungeons and Dragons tournament where basically everyone dies.
 You'll be seeing more emails about that in the future, but it has been
booked for Saturday, October 22nd in FPH.

Additionally, if you have any suggestions for things we should watch, please

The screening for Saturday 9/17 is *X-Files* for the series and *City of
Ember* for the movie.  We will be meeting in the *ELH of FPH at 8PM.*
