[Excalibur] Welcome One and All!

Hello Excalibur members new and old,

Thank you for your (perhaps continued) interest in
Excalibur<https://hampedia.org/wiki/Excalibur>and the stuff we do.

If you don't know why you're on this list and would like the breakdown,
Excalibur is the general geekery group on campus.  We have weekly series and
film screenings of the sci-fi or fantasy variety where food is served, when
the mood strikes us we have boardgame-based social events, once a semester
we hold Deathfest <https://hampedia.org/wiki/Deathfest> (a truly marvelous
event if I do say so myself), and we organize a convention trip up to
Arisia<http://2011.arisia.org/>in Boston during January.

That's basically what we've been doing for the past few years and people
seem to like it.

Gettin' down to buisness:

We have three signers: Connor, Lauren and myself (Zach) who are geeky, like
movies, and usually can get shit done(?) at a decent rate.

Our first screening is: *SATURDAY 18th at 8PM in the EAST LECTURE HALL OF
FPH.*

We will be showing the first episodes of all (or most) of the suggested
series and voting on which one to watch for the remainder of the semester.
 We normally would also watch a movie, but I doubt that will happen unless
people really want to (I'll bring some DVDs along).  There will also be
food.
