ConBust, Smith's awesome convention, is coming up after spring break. We'll
probably organize some kind of excalibur trip, if there is interest. We'll
pay for transportation, admission, etc.

Hello!
    Welcome to the ConBust Newsletter! *ConBust 2009 will be March 27-29th*.
ConBust is a sci-fi/fantasy/anime/gaming convention put on each spring by
students at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. This three-day
event provides fans of various geekdoms the opportunity to gather and enjoy
their interests as a whole. Panels and workshops, as well as movie and anime
showings, can be found in great abundance throughout the weekend. And of
course, we have a fabulous array of guests who will be showing.

    This year we are happy to have as guests: Lynn Flewelling, Patricia
Briggs, Sharyn November, Annette Curtis Klause, Phoebe Wray, Jennie Breeden,
Jeph Jacques, Randall Munroe, Theo Black, Holly Black, and more. You can

    Pre-Registration is now open! It will be open until March 1st. The price
for all three days is $20. In addition, ConBust offers free housing for
college students that are 18+. Housing will be given on a first-come,
first-serve basis, and is only available during pre-registration. You can
also volunteer to gopher at ConBust, and in exchange you can get some of
your registration money back. [Please note that pre-registration, once
received, cannot be refunded]
