This Saturday at Excalibur!

We will be showing the amazing movie that almost destroyed Gilliam's Career!

The Adventures of Baron Munchausen! Join a man born of legend and sustained by
myth, who's epic tales and extraordinary companions defy everything from death
to logic! A truly endearing tale of dreamers and flights of fancy.

Following this amazing film we will enter into a strange land of TALKING!

We will talk about what, exactly, we all want to watch as the TV series for
spring term, some people say Stargate SG1, others say Carnivale, and others
want old runs of Dr. Who.

Well, we will talk about this, we may even watch a sample episode of something,
if people want to, or we may watch something else...

I will bring Lost in La Mancha with me, the documentary about the Gilliam
directed Don Quixote movie that never was! Not so much Sci-Fi or Fantasy, but
rather a heartbreaking look at how much dreamers have to overcome in the movie
industry, and how sometimes they just can't succeed.

"In the face of insurmountable odds, I threw dust in it's eyes, kicked
it in the shin, and then ran like the wind."
