Spring is here, more or less, and the first Deathfest of 2006 isn't far away.
We're scheduled for Friday, April 14, at 6 p.m., starting in the FPH West
Lecture Hall, so get your pencils and dice ready!

Deathfest is Hampshire's semi-annual roleplaying tournament. If you've never
been, it's easy! We'll teach you how to play. All you need is a pencil and a
competitive spirit... (Creative morality and a sense of humor help, too.)

Only one will win...but there are dead games, snacks, movie screenings, board
games and more for when you're eliminated, and prizes will be awarded at the
end if you do something impressive. Special prizes include Deathfest Survivor,
the Ultimate Badass, the Permanent Resident, the Gazeebo award, and the
Jonathan Scott Hopkins Award for Creative Morality. And this time (not to give
too much away!), there should be a real fight to win.

Starts at 6 p.m. Friday, April 14, in the FPH West Lecture Hall. Bring a pencil
(and dice if you have them). Food/dead room will be in FPH 108.

Everyone is welcome. Bring all your friends. You don't even have to be a geek.

For more info about the tournament part (questions, concerns, want to come but
know you'll be late, etc.), email Fonda (mfl02) or Pip (pbw03). Jacob and
Chris are handling the food this time, so expect something impressive--they
won't be distracted by piffling concerns like GMing--and go to them with your
ideas or suggestions or offers of help for that area. I assume they're also
co-ordinating the movie screenings, etc.

Hope to see everyone there!
