This Saturday will be a smaller screening for all you folks out with family and
friends.
These screenings will be in the DAKIN HOUSE LIVING ROOM, NOT the East Lecture
Hall.
No Firefly this week. Instead, We'll be showing...

HEAT VISION AND JACK at 8:00pm. A never aired TV pilot episode directed by Ben
Stiller, written by the guys who wrote the "I attack the darkness!" sketch,
starring Jack Black as the astronaut and Owen Wilson as the voice of Heat
Vision, the talking motorcycle. Also starring Ron Silver as Ron Silver.
Totally awesome.

THE THIEF AND THE COBBLER at 8:45. This animated film was in production for 30
years when it was quickly finished to compete with the also-Arabian themed
Aladdin. The end product is flawed, but still an amazing movie. A feast for
fans of animation (It's created by Richard Williams, who supervised the
animation in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?), this movie features a wonderful
performace by Vincent Price as the wizard ZigZag.
