This is a bittersweet time to be a comics fan... there is so much great stuff
out there, and Julie's tenure at DC is as responsible as Stan Lee for the way
modern superhero comics look. No one beat his stuff for sheer jaw-dropping
wonder and baffling surreality. Alas, we've lost many of comics' Golden Age and
evern some Silver Age lgends these last few years... John Buscema, Gil Kane,
John Romita, and now Julie. If oyu ever get a chance to meet any of the
remianing old pros at conventions or anything, don't miss it, because they won't be
around much longer, and when they're all gone, some piece of comics' history
goes with them.
