Here's what we're showing this Saturday.

8:00 - Dark City. This rubber-reality movie predated the Matrix, with which it
shares several themes. However, Dark City stands easily on it's own, with a
sense of style all it's own, a decidedly adult sensibility, and some eye-
poppin' visuals. Great performances by Keifer Sutherland as a wacked-out doctor
and a bunch of creepy Englishmen in trenchcoats.

10:00 - Ravenous. This has to be the only movie about cannibals that was
directed by a vegetarian woman. Set in an 1840's army fort full of outcasts and
losers, this horror film/black comedy stars Guy Pearce(Memento) and Robert
Carlyle(The Full Monty). Violent, funny, creepy, and toting a bizarre, kickass
soundtrack, this is one of my favorites. See it, why don't ya.
