Sorry this is so late, but Hampshire Halloween planning got the better of me.
If you guys can drag yourselves out of whatever chemical induced stupor you may
or may not have gotten yourselves into, we will be showing movies tonight!
8 o'clock-The Emperor's New Groove. Disney CEO Michael Eisner hated this movie.
That should give you an idea that it might not be your typical Disney feature.
This film has no songs except one sung by Tom Jones and has a zany attitude
that harkened back to the screwball cartoons of yesteryear. This movie is
funny, vibrant, and a reason to decry the supposed demise of Disney's cel
animation department.
9:30- UHF. You either like Weird Al Yankovic or you don't...but how could you
not like Weird Al? This bizarre little movie concerns AL aquiring a small local
TV station and putting on bizarre programs while trying to keep it out of the
hands of a wealthy businessman. Full of strange gags and tangents, this movie
reminds me of nothing so much as a live action version of family guy, albiet
with the twisted family-friendlyness of Weird Al.
Same place (FPH East Lecture Hall)
