We have ASH back again this week, so we've decided to show some good old
classics. The common denominator? Ray Harryhausen, master of stop-motion
special effects.

8:00-1981's Clash of the Titans concerns the greek myth of Perseus and his
quest to kill Medusa and rescue the Princess Andromeda. Chock full of gods and
weird beasts, with Harry Hamlin as Perseus and Laurence Olivier as Zeus.

10:00-Jason and the Argonauts is another story out of greek myth, with the
titular hero seeking the golden fleece with the help of Hercules. He has to
battle some terrible monsters along the way, including climactic and famous
fight with a pack of skeletons.

Both these movies can be on the goofy side, but the visuals are great and I
have it on good word that buckles are swashed.

Deathfest is coming, but there may be a schedule change. We'll let you know
ASAP if that is the case.
