Dear Mrs. Mariam Sani Abacha,

I bet your last name rhymes with "you betcha," because that's what I'm going to 
say. You Betcha! I'll help out. I hate to see any woman, let alone a widow, in 
a situation like this. I feel just horrible for you, what with your husband 
dead and your son in jail and the white frontman you guys had dead and all, so 
of course I want to do whatever I can to help out.
As a matter of fact, (I hope this is alright), I've already purchased two 
airline tickets to Nigeria. The reason I got two is so my wife can come, 
because I told her about your condition, and I think she may even be more 
worried about you than I am. You just write me another email telling me where 
to meet you at the airport, or just be there when the plane unloads.
We aren't going to leave until wednesday morning, because we have two dogs who 
have to go to the kennel (their names are Britney, after the singer who's so 
famous in this country right now, and Charleton Heston (who we just call 
Charlie), after my role model. They're Pekineseses. Or Something.) and I need 
to get the oil changed in the Saab if I'm going to be leaving it in the garage 
(it doesn't like to sit for a long time - I've been meaning to take it into a 
mechanic, but I never seem to find the time.) Also, I'm going to have to et 
time off from work (of course) so that will take a few days, especially because 
my boss takes the longest time to make decisions about even the simplest of 
things. You'd think three years as CEO would give him enough time to master the 
learning curve, but NO, he has to "carefully consider" every friggin' thing I 
say... jeez.
Actually, my wife and I have been looking forward to a vacation for a while, 
and now that the kids have gone back to school for the fall, we were just going 
to leave, but I'm sure Nigeria has some resorts that are just wonderful, too.
But for real, I'll come and help you thaw out your bank accounts, and maybe 
I'll talk to this Olusegun Obasanjo character, too. He doesn't sound too nice. 
You know what I say, never trust anyone whose last name starts with the same 
letter as their first name. Exceptions to this rule are Marylin Monroe and that 
other woman with the name thing... I forget her name.
So we'll come and straighten out your mess for you. You don't even need to give 
us all that money, just tell me where to meet you.
