[Excalibur] Screening 11-6-02

This week Excalibur has some delightful little people in store for you.

We'll be showing "Willow" at 8:00. For those of you who haven't seen it, this 
stars Warwick Davis (who would later go on to portray the Leprechaun) as a 
member of a race called the Nelwyn. He is called upon to protect a child from 
an evil sorceress. Val Kilmer helps out, in one of his better roles. Written by 
George Lucas and directed by Ron Howard, "Willow" also pioneered some Sfx 
technology that has led up to the groovy CG effects of today.

More little people show up in "The Hobbit," at 10:15. This 1978 animated movie 
is a suprisingly good, faithful (and not at all kiddie) telling of JRR 
Tolkien's classic book.
