Maybe next semester I can break this really late email thing. 

This week, we are celebrating arcade game players that kick ass.

TRON, at 8 o'clock. The original, and still the best movie about a cool, suave 
computer programmer/arcade master (Jeff Bridges) getting sucked into a 
computer. This film was an Sfx pioneer, with visuals that, in my opinion, still 
hold up today. (All those who prefer the lightbike matches to the pod race 
raise your hands)
By the way, this will be the new remastered edition DVD of Tron. Apparently, 
some of the guys are actually green. Who knew?

The Last Starfighter, at 9:45. If you were recruited to be an intergalactic 
fighter pilot based on how well you did in an arcade game, how would you react?
Find out how one fellow deals with it. 

This is our second to last screening for the semester. If you need incentive to 
stay for next friday's showing, I'll just say that it involves a certain 4-DVD 
special edition that was recently released.
