always, the Spring is a very busy time here in Woods Hole.
Recently, we sent our Spring Class II to the open ocean. The students
on the SSV<i> Robert C. Seamans</i> have departed Hawaii and are on
their way to the Pacific Northwest. Meanwhile, the SSV<i>
Corwith Cramer</i> is also underway, having left Key West and heading
North, ultimately returning to Woods Hole by the middle of June.
With the departure of this class, the campus is quiet for the next
month, and then students arrive for our SEA Summer Session. It
is nice to have a short time to catch up on projects before the
whirlwind energy and enthusiasm of our students returns.</font><br>

Summer quickly approaching, I wanted to pass a message to you
about the $5,000 "El Ni–o" Scholarship SEA will
automatically grant to students from Hampshire College who
are accepted into our Fall II (mid-October to early January)
program!</font><br>

cruise tracks (Mexico to Tahiti in the Pacific and St. Croix to Key
West traveling South of Cuba) offer excitement and, as always, many
educational opportunities. Now is the time for students to apply
for this fall trip! This is a great opportunity to send
your favorite students to this wonderful and life-changing experience
with a large scholarship. Please send an email to</font> <a
