building community, engaging with local issues and connecting to
topics relevant to people's lives. Not<b> YOUR</b> museum experience?
Illustrating with examples, the presentation will explore museums as
dynamic forums for fostering questioning, critical thinking and
dialogue with diverse audiences. Dolores Root has worked, studied and
written about museums, and will draw on her experiences as a regional
and international museum educator.<br>
