SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR ECOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
STUDENTS ARE COMING IN FAST NOW.

I am now posting these outside my door on the third floor of Cole (my
name is above the door) - and update them daily. There are extremely
well paid REU (National Science Foundation - Research Experience for
Undergraduates) internships in all aspects of ecology and
environmental science - and many, many others as well in
conservation, sustainability, agriculture, forestry, marine, etc. etc.

If you are looking for a summer internship check these out. Note:
THEY HAVE DEADLINES IN FEB AND MARCH. Most require a letter of
application and I urge you to work with a faculty member on this -
it's very important. Finally, if you think you don't have enough
experience (you may be missing some courses), Hampshire students in
my experience have a great track record getting these internships.
But, again, you need to work with a faculty member on the
application. I will be happy to help any of you when I return to
Hampshire (I am leaving tomorrow for a week and will be out of touch
then).
