Anyway - they run a Jan term trip to Mexico which focuses on permaculture and consensus decision making. 2 of the faculty from that program will be here October 9-11 (see email below), so I wanted to see if anyone was interested in inviting them to a class or organizing an informal gathering of students interested in learning more. Let me know and I can help set it up... Hope you're all well---wanted to let you know that Giovanni and Kathleen who run the MExico Jterm are planning to be in the area in October and I thought it might be a great excuse to get a chance for you to meet them and learn more about the Service Learning and Consensus Decision Making course we offer down there. They would be happy to visit classes, give a PP presentation or an informal talk, or visit a student group (maybe the business coops or envirnomental or latin american studies...). Let me know if you have any ideas! I look forward to hearing from you--- best, Gregg -- Gregg Orifici Director of Marketing and Admissions Living Routes - Study Abroad in Ecovillages Worldwide 79 S. She will consider strategies for finding that perfect job in the real world, and touch on the realities of working with and for actual people. Since this is our first meeting, we'll take some time for mutual introductions and descriptions of ongoing projects. If you have an idea for a topic or speaker, let me know or bring it to the talk. As always, there will be pizza. Fred Wirth
