[ESSP] Five College Marine Science Events Reminder

Hello Students,

Just a quick reminder of some upcoming events sponsored by the Five 
College Coastal and Marine Sciences Program:

On Mon, Oct 23, Tatiana Rynearson of the University of Rhode Island will 
present "Going with the flow: the ecological and evolutionary consequences 
of genetic variation in marine plankton."  McConnell B05, Smith College. 
Refreshments at 4 pm in McConnell Foyer.

UMass Professor Bruce Byers is holding two organizational meetings for his 
spring break 2007 Tropical Field Biology course: Wed, Oct. 25 (7:00 pm, 
Burton 101, Smith College.) Thurs, Oct. 26 (5:00 pm, Morrill 203, UMass)

The following week, on Thurs, Nov 2, we are having the Annual Student 
Research symposium at the Smith College Campus Center, room 103, from 7-9 
pm.  Tea and desserts will be served.

I also wanted to let you know about the MARINE RESOURCES POPULATION 
DYNAMICS WORKSHOP, January 6-12, 2007 in Summerland Key, Florida.  All 
expenses paid for the 15 undergraduate students selected to participate.
