EJ Murphy scholarship applications due Nov. 4, 2005. Awarded to Five College students for continued research on established projects and travel to conferences or workshops during the academic year. Awards are granted up to $500.00. 2. Go to the Tropics for Spring Break: informational meetings at UMass (Oct. 20) and Smith College (Oct. 25.) 3. Student Research Symposium: Thursday, Nov. 3, Smith College. Students from the five colleges will present summer research projects funded by the Five College Coastal and Marine Sciences Program, the Smith College Environmental Science and Policy Program, and the Woods Hole Marine Science Consortium.
