Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) expects to have full tuition and
stipend funding for new PhD students in the Earth & Environmental Science
areas listed below.  I'm attending the Five College Grad School
Information Day, on Wednesday, October 27th in the Student Union Ballroom,
U Mass Amherst campus, from 11 AM to 3 PM.

PS  If students are interested in a Master's degree as their next
step, we also have a Master's degree in Information Technology.  Quite a
wide variety of Science majors have completed the MS in IT.  Graduates are
being hired by major corporations like Oracle, Microsoft, IBM & Lockheed
Martin at salaries averaging over $60,000.

Freshwater environmental chemistry

Biogeochemistry

Experimental geochemistry

Metamorphic petrology & thermochemistry

Seismic tomography

GPS and active tectonics
