Dear Students,
Please take 5 minutes to fill out this survey about your
activism/community-based work/community service at Hampshire.
Hampshire has been selected as a finalist for a new book on socially
responsible colleges and universities. The national community-based
learning organization, Campus Compact, is asking students from
Hampshire to fill out this survey to assist them with their decision.
Please see details in the letter from Campus Compact and web site
information included below. Responses would be most helpful by
Friday, May 7th.
Thanks for your assistance!

Letter from Campus Compact
Dear Student Leader,
Your campus has been selected as a finalist for inclusion in a new
book, Colleges with a Conscience: An Engaged Student's Guide to
College, forthcoming from Campus Compact and the Princeton Review, in
partnership with Random House. The book is designed to help high
school students incorporate service and activism opportunties into
their college selection process and to showcase campuses that have
made an institutional commitment to engagement in their community.
Each campus included in the book will have a two-page profile
focusing on programs and practices that support student engagement.
To help prosepective students and to accurately portray your campus,
we want to hear from you about your experiences with service and
activism. You can do this by spending 5 minutes filling out a survey
