- Business and Entrepreneurship Education for the 21st Century - for

Business can channel creativity and entrepreneurship to support profit,
people and the planet. The Sustainability Education Center's Business
and Entrepreneurship Education for the 21st Century (BEE 21) is the
first year-long course to introduce high school students to business and
entrepreneurship with this goal in mind. BEE 21 is currently being
taught in high school throughout New York City. This spring marks the
second year of our BEE 21 professional development series for NYC
educators.
- Inventing the Future: Leadership and Participation in Government for
the 21st Century ("IF"), for Teachers
The "IF" course of study was designed to help young people understand
the relationships between and among local, global and historical events
and their own lives. "IF" fulfills the requirements of the NYC
Participation in Government course and was selected as the core
government class of the City Hall Academy of New York City, whose
mission is to showcase best practices of instruction in NYC. This spring
marks the second semester of our "IF" professional development series
for NYC educators.
