land conservation and activism in your local community

The Kestrel Trust is a leading local land trust, dedicated to
protecting the lands from the Holyoke Range to Mount Toby and the
Pelham Hills, and from the Connecticut River to the Quabbin
Reservoir. Since 1970, Kestrel has helped acquire and protect
thousands of acres to safeguard wildlife habitat, to preserve
farmland and other open space from sprawling residential and
commercial development, and to provide recreational opportunities.
