CoCo Conversation: Mental Health & Schooling - Date changed to 4/15/2020
The context of schooling not only affects the academic and motivational
competencies of learners, but can also affect their emotional
functioning. We will hear from some practitioners about some of the ways
schools both negatively and positively affect learners’ mental health
and about the trauma informed programs and supports that exist to
improve mental health and resilience. After a short presentation and
discussion, there will be opportunities to speak individually with
providers to learn more about their work.
