Wednesday 3/5 CBD Student Group: DOC SCREENING of Questioning Darwin* *@
6pm in ASH LOBBY*
This week we'll screen and discuss the latest documentary on Charles
Darwin, Anthony Thomas' Questioning Darwin.
"The film, by Antony Thomas, traces Charles Darwin's personal evolution
as he slowly formed his theory of evolution, fleshing out the portrait
with excerpts from his writings (read by the actor Sam West). These
biographical segments are juxtaposed with comments from creationist
Christians, presented nonjudgmentally. Mr. Thomas for the most part lets
these opposing worldviews speak for themselves." Neil Genzlinger. "True
Believers on Both Sides: in Questioning Darwin, No Easy Answers." New
York Times Feb 19, 2014. Light dinner (with vegan & vegetarian options)
provided. CEL-1 credit offered.
All the best,
Ryan
