[CS] Game Development e-mail list, Game Jam this weekend (!), and Game Gatherings

Hello All,

Welcome to a new semester! A few game-related announcements:
 
1) We have a GameDevelopment e-mail list. Please join it if you'd like to
stay current on game-related news, articles, game recommendations, game
events, and/or job opportunities.

2) There is a game jam happening this weekend at Mount Holyoke. It's free,
there will be free food, and it will be 24 hours of game making along with
10,000+ other game developers around the world. I highly recommend it, and I
will be going. More details below.
 
3) Last semester, several of us (faculty, students, and staff) got together
on Wednesdays to play board and card games. I had fun and it was valuable,
so I'd like to continue it this semester. Fortunately, the library is
gathering a collection of board games, so let's meet there. Main floor of
the library, in the back by the tables, 1pm ­ 3pm. Spread the word! We'll
start next week.
