[CS] Orthographic processing in baboons

Some of you may have heard my  longtime collaborator Jonathan Grainger on NPR recently discussing a fascinating finding that baboons can do lexical decision.  This finding suggests that word recognition initially taps into brain regions that recognize different objects by sight and that evolved in all primates.
