Xiang will talk about his transitions from
Fuzhou (Fujian province) China to Hampshire College
to Johns Hopkins graduate school.

And he will discuss his thesis:
The Role of AOR* in Chemoprevention of Cancer

There will be several opportunities to meet informally with Xiang.
Please let Merle know if you'd like to join him for lunch at noon on  
Wednesday.

xiang will also be talking to Rayane Moriera's Organic Chemistry  
class at
11:00 am Wednesday

of her class.

* For the molecular biologists and chemists in the crowd, the actual  
title of Xiang's thesis is
Role of Alkenal/one Oxidoreductase (AOR) and Serum Deprivation  
Response Factor (sdr)-related Gene Product
that Binds to c-kinase (SRBC) in Chemoprevention of Cancer.
He won't have time to talk about all of this in the Wednesday  
afternoon class, but you can hear more at 11:00 in Rayane's class and  
at lunch or informally.
