FYI if any students on the list are interested in doing this kind of  
work then they should definitely talk to Jaime and/or me -- this is  
right up our alley. (In fact I was on Jason Lohn's dissertation  
committee and I shared a prize with his NASA team for "human- 
competitive results of genetic and evolutionary computing.") We may  
not be able to get your evolved design to fly on a NASA mission, but  
we could definitely help you to use evolution to produce some  
interesting/useful designs, which you might be able to fabricate  
through the Lemelson fabrication shop...
