seeking experienced facilitators/social justice
activists to lead a 7-week
summer program for young activists, ages 15-19.
Facilitate workshops/trainings
on a wide range of social justice issues and support
youth as they develop and
execute campaigns to tackle these issues.</span><span

social justice organization, which provides young people
with the training and
experience needed to become the next generation

movements to social & economic justice. We are

will select up to thirty youth
to participate in a 7-week summer program in which they
will gain the skills to
critically analyze the challenges young people and their
communities face,
learn about the history behind these issues, and develop
projects to do

to 10 youth from the summer
program will be hired to continue their work and
training throughout the school
year. They will deepen their knowledge of social justice
issues & root
causes, learn about movement history and expand their
critical analysis and
organizing/activism skills. They will develop and carry
out longer-term projects
and campaigns. School year staff will be eligible to
apply to be the following
year’s apprentice trainers.</span><span

more experienced young people will
be hired as apprentice trainers. They will receive
additional training and
supervision and be mentored by senior staff. They will
assist in running the
summer program, co-facilitate workshops and provide
support to youth as they
develop and implement projects. Apprentice trainers will
be eligible to apply
to be the following year’s senior staff.</span><span
