[CommAdvocacy] Sexual Assault Activism Month Events

Hello Community Advocacy friends!

As you may know, April 2015 is Hampshire College's 2nd Annual Sexual 
Assault Activism Month. We have lots of events and activities planned 
throughout the month. Below are next week's events - more to come!

*Tuesday, March 31^st **: Supporting Survivors of Sexual Violence*, a 
workshop with Liza Neal, Director of Spiritual Life, and Peer Chaplains 
on Tuesday, March 31^st from 12-1:30pm in Merrill Living Room. Learn how 
to support survivors of sexual violence in your communities. Lunch from 
Paradise of India provided!

*Wednesday, April 1^st **: Survivor Speakout* on Wednesday, April 1^st 
at 7pm in ASH 112. This is a safe space for survivors of sexual violence 
and their allies* to share (by choice) their experiences in a supportive 
and affirming environment. Counselors and peer chaplains available to 
provide support as needed.

*Saturday, April 4^th **: Screening **/It Happened Here/**(2015)* on 
Saturday, April 4^th at 7pm in ASH 112. /It Happened Here 
/is//acompelling new documentary featuring survivors of sexual violence 
from area colleges (including Amherst College and UConn) who transformed 
their experiences into social change.Optional discussion to follow.

/Events are open to all Hampshire students, faculty, and staff unless 
otherwise indicated./

Center, Sexperts, the Hampshire Mental Health Advocacy Network, Diana 
Sutton-Fernández, Chief Diversity Officer and Title IX Coordinator, and
