*Saturday, April 4^th : **Screening **/It Happened Here/***(2015) on
Saturday, April 4^th at 7pm in ASH 112. /It Happened Here
/is//acompelling new documentary featuring survivors of sexual violence
from area colleges (including Amherst College and UConn) who transformed
their experiences into social change.Optional discussion to follow.
*Monday, April 6^th **: Campus lighting survey* with Community Outreach
Officer Earl Brown. Join students and staff on a campus walk to assess
campus lighting needs and provide your input on making our campus safer.
Meet at the library loading dock outside the Post Office at 7:15pm on

*Wednesday, April 8^th : **Challenging Rape Myths*, a workshop with
Arianna Rose, F’11 and Sasha Nochimow, F’11 on Wednesday, April 8^th
from 12-1:30pm in Merrill Living Room. Discuss and debunk myths about
sexual violence. Lunch provided!
*Thursday, April 9^th : **Invisible Chains:* Coercive Control in
Intimate Relationships, a workshop with Dr. Lisa Aronson Fontes on
Thursday, April 9^th at 12-1:30pm in Merrill Living Room. Coercive
control is a strategy some people use to dominate their intimate
partners and maintain their privileges. It usually includes some
combination of degrading, isolating, micromanaging, manipulating,
stalking, physically abusing, sexual coercion, threatening or punishing.
After a short presentation, Fontes welcomes an interactive discussion of
this new way of understanding and addressing violence and control in
relationships. Lunch provided!
